WHO WE ARE
Founder of Unveil Arabia – Salua Daghay
Salua Daghay and her husband Koenraad combined their passions for travel and exploring the natural world to start Unveil Arabia in 2012. Both highly educated scientists, the pair design active discovery experiences for clients who want a deeper understanding of the United Arab Emirates and its surprising diversity.
The couple moved from Belgium to the United Arab Emirates in 2008. They were drawn to the country's multiculturalism, natural assets and mix of Arab modernity and tradition. After only a short time they wanted to share their local insights with others by starting their own travel design company, Unveil Arabia.
Before founding Unveil Arabia, Salua worked for the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. There she developed the official guided tour and worked closely with the FIA during the 2010 Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix. Following on from this experience Salua began tour guiding for local companies to become one of the most highly regarded and most requested tour guides in the United Arab Emirates.
Meanwhile, Koenraad worked on the environmental management of some of the largest tourism developments in Abu Dhabi, such as the Desert Islands and the Louvre Museum, which is still under construction. A true explorer, he loves trips into the outdoors where he always discovers new and unexpected surprises.
The Unveil Arabia team loves to move around and explore the UAE to source the newest experiences and sample the latest venues and hotels for their clients. Bringing together the best of their experiences to create bespoke packages for the discerning travel client and corporate group.
